Since the incorporation of the Medina EOOD in 1990 the production of ice-cream is of primary importance. The beginning is marked as a family undertaking which includes three workers and an ice-cream machine processing as many as 300 l raw milk per 24 hours.
Deliveries and placement are limited within the city only, but as the enterprise grows active sales in a couple of neighbouring regions and cities begin to take place as well.
Medina is keeping on growing and is now fully marketed in Bulgaria as well in some neighbouring countries.
Being a firm whose staff numbered 15 persons only, and which operated with production, warehousing and ready products accommodated in one and the same place, Medina has now become a cutting edge technological factory complying with all provisions of the food industry in the European Union.
Currently, more than 40 workers are employed in Medina EOOD and its production capacity reaches up to 1,200 kg or, to be more precise, 14,000 ice-creams per hour.
With respect to quality and hygiene, we cannot afford making any compromise.
Our entire production is made according to certified management systems under ISO 22000 (we have been certified in 2009) and under UFS6 (certification in 2014).
With special care to our clients, we produce premium grade ice-cream products at accessible prices.
